I don't know if it's fair to say that I missed caramel - maybe it's more accurate to say I forgot about it. Here in the United States, most caramel you come across has dairy in the recipe, so it fluttered out of consciousness some time ago. But caramel days are here again, folks: thanks to Stroop Club's stroopwafel!
