I don't know if it's fair to say that I missed caramel - maybe it's more accurate to say I forgot about it. Here in the United States, most caramel you come across has dairy in the recipe, so it fluttered out of consciousness some time ago. But caramel days are here again, folks: thanks to Stroop Club's stroopwafel!
I've got to say, Kibo Chickpea Chips really exceeded my expectations. I don't know what I necessarily expected, but this pico de gallo flavor is pretty great.
For the longest time, there weren't a lot of choices for vegan granola bars. The few that existed were of the crunchy variety - and don't get me wrong, those have their place - but I longed for the soft, sweet embrace of the chewy. The CHEWY.
In the beginning, there were vegan chocolates, sure. But then we said, "Let their be Sjaak's!" And life was significantly improved.
The case of Louisville Vegan Jerky Co's smoked black pepper vegan jerky is a case of, "It does what it says on the box." It's jerky. It's black pepper. It's vegan. That's what it is and it tastes good!
I mean... what's to say? I like 'em. Pickle flavored chips are my jam, though. Doritos Tangy Pickle corn chips seem to be readily available at most major chain stores and are available for shipping, too.
