Vegetarian Plus Vegan Ham Roll review

Oh 1990s Lisa – if only you knew what the future held! For vegan stuff… Most of the other stuff is kinda scary.

Imitation ham with vegan apricot plum glaze? Yes please!

Who knew this was a thing? Every once in a while, I randomly stumble across a Vegetarian Plus product. They’re the silent assassins of vegan meats: I never see them coming and their food slays.

Coming in at 2 lb 11.2 ounces, the Vegetarian Plus vegan ham roll is not just a tasty dinner for your family but also doubles as a home invasion deterrent. I mean, it really works for all of your bludgeoning needs. This is a serious bit of business.

I’ve never glazed anything in my life, so this was a new experience. What is a glaze? It’s a tasty syrup you pour on stuff. This was pretty self-explanatory after all.

I did keep referring back to the directions to make sure I didn’t screw it up. You can see where I started underlining the crucial steps.

It sure does look fancy. And with very little effort. (That’s my favorite kind of effort.) You just follow the directions and it comes out like this.

This vegan ham roll really did exceed our expectations. The box suggested we might also skip the glaze and use the ham on a sandwich. I plan to pair it with some Just Egg – a moment I’m eagerly anticipating! The thing is, it seems as though the ham roll is only available seasonally – or my particular Whole Foods has it in stock intermittently.

The Vegan Ham Roll is a wonderful addition to our table. We look forward to featuring it at Sunday dinners, holiday meals and big breakfasts!
