The title of this post is clearly a mistake. It’s not that Vegan Deluxe Breakfast sandwich review isn’t what I’m here to talk about, it’s that we should replace the word REVIEW with SWOON. I mean, this breakfast sandwich isn’t going to destabilize my marriage or anything, BUT IT’S A REALLY GOOD SANDWICH!
In case it’s news to you, the Vegan Deluxe breakfast sandwich is “Just Egg Folded, Beyond Sausage and Daiya Foods cheddar cheese – all stacked in a delicious, buttery vegan chia seed croissant” as per their official website. Now right away, the notion of chia seed croissant wasn’t something that excited me (quite the contrary), but man, it’s a GREAT croissant! I mean, based on maybe the two vegan croissants I’ve had. I thought it’d be all…I dunno, seedy? And dense, maybe dry… And it’s NOT. It’s fantastic.
This is one of those instances where I’d usually just say, “It does what it says on the box,” but that really doesn’t do this sandwich justice. Someone might say that chia seeds, butter, eggs, cheese and sausage are too many flavors for one sandwich, BUT I SAY DIFFERENT! Put this sandwich into my veins!
Ok, I’ll stop now. It’s a great sandwich and I recommend it. I can’t make that clear enough, but more than that, I desperately want everyone to go get one because I’m afraid that if the response is weak, they’ll stop making it, AND THEN WHAT WILL I DO?!? OH NO THE HUMANITY, THE TRAGEDY THAT WOULD BE MINE TO BEHOLD, FOR IF IT WERE TO END, MOUNTAINS WOULD CRUMBLE, OCEANS WOULD BOIL, THE VERY FABRIC OF REALITY WOULD TEAR ASUNDER –
Please try the sandwich.
