Let it be known: Veggie Heaven in Teaneck, New Jersey is a fantastic vegan restaurant. Even if Teaneck is a haul for you, I recommend you make the pilgrimage.
This post will serve as a general overview of Veggie Heaven. In the future, I’ll talk more in depth about individual dishes.
So what’s on the menu? They have EVERYTHING. There are TWO MENUS and they’re both novellas. At they’re core, they’re a Chinese restaurant, but they offer tons of American, Thai, Indian and dishes from various parts of the Caribbean. There’s some European offerings, too. See, I wasn’t exaggerating when I said they have everything. Oh, and there’s an extensive sushi menu, too!
Veggie Heaven also has a great lunch special, and it’s a good opportunity to try something new. Our strategy is to choose a soup that comes with the special and then get an order of spring rolls separately. And man, the soups are GOOD.

They’re currently doing a great job with contactless delivery. Oh, and they’re not just vegan, they’re kosher, too!
To be clear: there are Veggie Heavens in Montclair and Denville. And they’re DIFFERENT! Just something to keep in mind.
