Louisville Vegan Jerky Co’s smoked black pepper vegan jerky is a case of, “It does what it says on the box.” It’s jerky. It’s black pepper flavored. It’s vegan. That’s what it is and it tastes good!
In case the presence of the word “pepper” might make you think that this is going to be spicy or at least get you sneezing, I find that’s not the case. It’s a tasty snack if you’re in a savory mood. Louisville Vegan Jerky Co has a number of flavors and, for lack of a better word, I would say black pepper is their “plain” variety – it’s the closest to the unaltered base of their jerky.
As we often find in this bold new vegan future we inhabit, the package comes with a resealable top. Very convenient!
I find that Louisville Vegan Jerky Co’s products are readily available for ordering online, but I haven’t encountered them out in the wild much. But of course, things are changing!
